Jazz At The Green Man has been putting on live jazz gigs since the 1970s when infamous British jazz trumpeter Gerard Presencer's father ran the club under the name "Ziggy's." More recently, the Worshipful Company of Musicians have been running jazz concerts monthly for the past three years.
Jazz At The Green Man has now switched to a weekly format with the day to day running of the gig assumed by three up-and-coming jazz players: Trumpeter Henry Armburg-Jennings, bass playing GSMD alumnus Luke Steele, and tenor-playing RAM graduate Tom Stone.
